Music
producers Hung-Wu Lo and Kuang-Yuan Shen founded Friendly Dog. They were initially
music producers atthe Rock Records Co., Ltd(the biggest record company during the 90s);
after which, Kuang-Yuan Shen became the A&R Director of Rock Records. In 1991, Mr. Lo
&Mr. Shen left Rock Records and established Friendly Dog Records Company together, which
primarily focused on music production, planning, promotion, artist management, music
publishing and licensing. Friendly Dog Records Company released over 70 albums from 1991
to 2000; it was one of the most creative and experimental independent record companies in
Taiwan in the 90s. |

Friendly Dog produced and released many great and hit albums for many reputable artistsincluding Emil Chau (3 albums), Hung-Liang Chang (1 album), Chuan Chao (4 Albums), Kay Huang (3 Albums), Pin-Yuen Huang (4 Albums), Chyna, Giong Lim, Shu-Hua Chen, Da-Yu Lo, Shunza Ni, Sandee Chan, Shino, Ying Na…etc.There were over 10 millions albums sales in Taiwan & China. 15 years ago, Friendly Dog pioneered in producing and organizing live concert and live music show in different schools and cities in Taiwan. In 2006, Friendly Dog decided to focusedmore on producing all kind of events and concerts, as they believe that every cities and counties needs a professional and creative group to plan events that can fulfill different needs and wants. Therefore, Friendly Dog Records Co., Ltd is re-established as “Friendly Dog Entertainment Co., Ltd”. |

Since 2006, Friendly Dog Entertainment has been hosting Spring Wave Music & Art Festival in Kenting.Spring Wave Music & Art Festival is an annual outdoor music festival that has become a household and number one brand for outdoor music festival in Asia (based on sales volume). Every April, Spring Wave attracts almost 20,000 people and it has also attracted many tourists into Kenting. It is definitely a must go outdoor music event that you can’t miss! |
